STUDY ON ETHICAL AND RESPONSIBLE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Dr. M. Kundalakesi ,Priya Dharshini S, Sathish Kumar S Published on : 2026-07-10 STUDY ON ETHICAL AND RESPONSIBLE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has moved from a specialized technical field to a normalized component of contemporary work, leisure, and governance, driving a paradigm shift in global productivity and innovation. However, its rapid integration is fraught with significant risks, including privacy infringement, algorithmic bias, and the erosion of human agency. This report synthesizes findings from five primary research sources to define "Responsible AI" (RAI) as a socio-technical modus operandi that minimizes harm to people and the environment while aligning with human values. By examining the perspectives of AI practitioners, technical experts, and policymakers, the report identifies a complex web of distributed responsibility. It explores the technical foundations of privacy-preserving algorithms, the ethical risks specific to sensitive domains like healthcare and education, and the philosophical frameworks required to navigate a future involving increasingly autonomous systems.
